• Diploma in Offshore Safety

Diploma in Offshore Safety is a safety program initiated by the Government of India that
deals with Occupational Safety issues associated with Offshore work activity. The training
content and curriculum is exclusively designed to ensure that it can be followed and
understood by people from across countries and by staff at different levels of their career.
This course will bring you an insight on topics like Basic Safety Engineering, Occupational
Health and Safety, Fire Prevention and Safety, offshore Safety. Diploma in Offshore Safety
is a specialist qualification for people in offshore oil and gas industry who are responsible for
ensuring safety as part of their day-to-day duties.

How will I be assessed?
You need to clear four theory papers and a practical assessment:
PAPER I – BASIC SAFETY ENGINEERING.
PAPER 2 – OCCUPATION HEALTH AND SAFETY.
PAPER 3 – FIRE PREVENTION AND CONTROL.
PAPER 4 – OFF SHORE SAFETY.

What are the durations of the exams?

Paper I & Paper 2 : 2 hours written exam – 10 questions (no choice) – 100 marks
Paper 3 & Paper 4 : 2 hours written exam – 10 questions (no choice) – 100 marks

What are the certifications I will get after completing the tests and
when do I get them?
Successful candidates will get the certificate within 30 days (from the result announcement
date). Certificate & Mark List will be issued from Central Board of Examination & National
Development agency, promoted by the Government of India. Separate certificates will be
issued for distinction and first class.
